I am one of ten siblings born in San Jose, Costa Rica. Three of my sisters and I were adopted when I turned eight in 1983. We were very fortunate to stay together with a loving couple from West Virginia. I grew up on a big farm and took advantage of all it had to offer. Although West Virginia is "wild and wonderful" I knew my heart belonged at the beach. I finished college and ventured on to a life of sand and sun. Making that choice is what led me to pursue my passion in massage and bodywork in Myrtle Beach, SC. Shortly after completing massage school I met my soul mate and married him in Charleston, SC. I became a military wife and moved to Groton, CT. After serving his time in the Navy, my husband was offered a job in FL. Now here I am in beautiful St Augustine, FL!
I am a nationally certified and licensed massage therapist in the state of FL, SC and CT. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in Sports Behavior and Sociology at West Virginia University I decided to pursue my calling. I have always had a passion and fascination with the human body and it's workings. This led me to enroll at the South Carolina Massage Therapy Institute in Myrtle Beach, SC in 2001. I furthered my education at Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy in Charleston, SC in 2003.
I have over 10 years of experience in massage and bodywork, practicing a variety of modalities including: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Pre-Natal, Neuromuscular Therapy, Hot Stone, Lomi-Lomi, Raindrop Therapy, Thai Massage, Chair Massage, Body Scrubs and Therapeutic Wraps. I continue to learn and grow in my profession. I strive to live an active and healthy lifestyle while promoting massage and bodywork and overall well being.
